BUSY IN THE UK AND FRANCE
Savasort exhibits successful
Savasort's exhibition at the April 25 - 19 International Health Records and Information Management Association (IHRIM) European conference was a success. Out of the 250 plus attendee conference came not only significant interest in the products, but also an opportunity to form a joint venture with London based Gazebo Products, Ltd., a hospital specialty paper products manufacturer. The venture, which is still under consideration by both parties, would involve Gazebo distributing Savasort products in the UK.

The appearance of California hospital Medical Records Director April Robertson was also popular, in that it provided interested medical records professionals an opportunity to chat with a major user of the products.

Also, out of the conference came a decision to exhibit at IHRIM's Irish regional conference on May 12th in Belfast. Attended by about eighty hospital records directors from across Ireland, this one day conference also brought Savasort products in contact with many new prospective customers. Gotta, Savasort's French market distributor, has now set up a small showroom at their location in Dijon, has new French language brochures, and is poised to begin marketing in earnest. Next on the European agenda for Savasort are visits with German contacts, following up leads in the UK from the various conferences, and assisting our new French partners.

A large sale was also recently closed at Christie NHS Trust Hospital in Manchester, with the medical records department and operations being completely outfitted with Savasort equipment.

This month's biggest news is that one of my Rolex 24 at Daytona sponsors - Forsberg Services has now created an agreement with Sabre to help them market their cutting edge racing data acquisition systems, built into a motor sport sponsorship program to run for the next year. The Forsberg system, named HA-ART is an exciting product and has already made a big impact in motor sport worldwide. I very much look forward to working with the company and promoting their extremely useful and high tech products.

I also recently had the thrill of driving for the first time ever at Silverstone, and was happy to have the moral (and other) support of Savasort President Phil Elmore, who even managed to talk his way into a corner marshall station to get some great photos to boot! Otherwise, I have been very busy this month with Savasort marketing, as Phil and I also attended the IHRIM conference in Hull on his trip. More racing to look forward to this summer, and until next time...
