| LATE BRAKING NEWS! New support for Crilly Fort Lauderdale, Florida based Carbotech has agreed to Sponsor Sabre driver Neil Crilly by becoming Official Supplier of racing brake pads for Radical's factory team cars through 1998. Under the arrangement, Carbotech agreed to provide support for Crilly by providing a season long supply of brake pads for the three factory cars, and will have supplier level graphics featured on the three cars as well. Carbotech, a custom brake manufacturer and Hawk distributor, felt the involvement was a good way to help expand their European presence. Larry Narcus, owner of Carbotech said: "Neil used our racing pads when he lived here in Florida, and now he is involved in a new, quality project which we wanted to be a part of to aid our European marketing efforts." | |||
| 1998 ROLLING! cont. First, races at the Moroso 24h and Rolex 24 at Daytona, and a test of the Radical sportsracer in the UK. First priority is a major thank you to my primary supporters and sponsors: Phil and Dana Elmore at Savasort. Without their support, I simply would not have driven in these races. Other welcome support for Daytona came from renewing sponsor Campbell's, and new sponsors Forsberg Services and NovAtel, who also receive my sincerest thanks. On the Radical project, my appreciation goes to owners Mick Hyde and Phil Abbott, as the Radical test has kicked off our working together to market their cars. A primary part of the plan is a program of races for me throughout 1998, which I very much look forward to after testing this amazing car! Hope your '98 rolls too! Neil Crilly |
