![]() Sabre Sport, formed in the USA in 1991, provides public relations and marketing services to clients with varying product and service types. The company specializes in motor sport marketing programs and Managing Director Neil Crilly brings inside knowledge as he is also the driver for the company's racing projects. With a university degree in Business, Crilly acquired five years of experience in marketing consulting and advertising production before starting Sabre. A highlight of that time was an Addy Award (a USA advertising industry award) he won in 1990 for a European market campaign.
Sabre Sport works with companies to create marketing programs based around their specific marketing goals. The company provides full management of its marketing programs and utilizes multi-lingual specialty staff support for program elements such as corporate hospitality and on-site event promotion. Multi-lingual service is also provided for PR support by specialized staff such as, for example, Andrea Promny, VP of Marketing and Promotion for Sabre, who was previously a Fashion Business Editor for German sportswear business magazines Sportswear International and Sportartikel Zeitung.
Canadian/British citizen Crilly started driving "autocross" events at age 20. After gaining road racing licenses by 24, he honed his craft at famous U.S. circuits Daytona, Sebring and Road Atlanta. His best season to date has been 1995 when, competing with more than thirty cars per race, he finished in the four top five and nine top ten finishes in fourteen starts. Since then he has driven in numerous international events including the 1997 Exxon 12 Hours at Sebring and the 1998 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, and in various other events in the USA and Europe. He has also served as a driving instructor for the SCCA and Trackspeed International.
